Donation Drive Through in Pajaro

This past winter, the homes and livelihoods of many residents of Santa Cruz and the surrounding area were affected by weather damage. To help residents of the Pajaro Valley, the Student Volunteer Center and Praxis are collaborating with the Second Harvest Food bank to operate a drive-thru food distribution center in Pajaro. Come help us assist the staff in directing cars, registering participants, and loading food into cars.
The Second Harvest Food bank is a volunteer-based organization which has been working closely with the residents of Santa Cruz since 1972. We are thrilled to be assisting them in their mission!

Location: 100 Salinas Rd, Watsonville, CA
Time: The event will be held on Saturday, May 20 from 8am to 10am. We ask those who volunteer to arrive between 7am to 7:30am to help setup and get oriented with their tasks. Rides from campus will be available for students if needed. If you need a ride, please fill out the following Google Form: Pajaro Valley Food Distribution Ride Sign-Up Sheet
Volunteers are recommended to wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and dress for varying weather as the event will take place outdoors.
