The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is the perfect opportunity for volunteers interested in neuroscience and who want to change the way the world looks at psychedelic medicines. MAPS is a non-profit research and educational organization founded in 1986 that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and cannabis use. The mission of MAPS is to develop psychedelics and cannabis into prescription medicines, and to educate the public about the risks and benefits of using psychedelics and cannabis. The easiest way to volunteer for MAPS is through the Zendo Project, in which volunteers focus on psychedelic harm reduction and helping people overcome challenging or overwhelming experiences. Visit www.zendoproject.org or maps.org for more information and questions about volunteering!
