Interested in guiding activities like printmaking or weaving? Enjoy conversing with people and surprising people with interesting facts? Want to make a positive impact to the community while focusing on art and history? Then, volunteering at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH), is the right volunteer opportunity for you!

Located in downtown Santa Cruz, MAH showcases numerous exhibits that are unique to the Santa Cruz community. Due to their location, they are easily accessible by public transportation for volunteers living in and around Santa Cruz. They have hosted 800 events in the past year 162 of which have been free community events with the aid of volunteers.

Volunteers typically volunteer once a month and the shift lasts 3-4 hours. MAH is flexible about finding times that fit well for you and find better opportunities in the event that this role does not suit you.

Feel like you are inexperienced to volunteer here? That’s not an issue as MAH is eager to provide on the job training! To sign up, please visit https://santacruzmah.org/volunteer-application and fill out an online application!
