Are you interested in becoming a doctor, dentist or vet? Are you interested in working internationally with communities who lack adequate healthcare resources? If so, volunteering with VIDA could be the perfect opportunity for you.  VIDA Volunteer is a program that began in 2008 that was developed to help underserve communities with little to no access to healthcare. VIDA emphasizes the importance of cultural integration and opening volunteers’ minds to global health care issues.  Since 2008, Vida has assisted over 200,000 patients and 100,000 animals. The serve communities in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Volunteering with Vida is a great opportunity for students interested in medicine, dentistry, and vetinary work to get more hands-on experience in their fields as well as making an impact on those in need.  If you are interested in learning more about Vida Volunteer as well as upcoming trips, visit their website at https://www.vidavolunteer.org/
