Founded in 1985, the Young at Heart Project is an organization aimed at providing entertainment to the elderly across Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Santa Clara counties. Young at Heart has put on a variety of performances, such as live professional musical performances that transport people back in time to the eras of jazz, folk, and swing. Throughout the years the  organization has served more than 100,000 confined seniors with over 35,000 performances. The goal of Young at Heart is to create a positive impact on the senior community by bringing happiness and joy through the power of music. The performances are directed towards seniors in day care, convalescent, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.

Join the effort in spreading positivity through music by getting involved as a volunteer! Volunteer duties include flyering, office work, grant writing, and helping out with special events.
