Save Our Shores

Save Our Shores is a great organization for beach and conservation lovers. This organization is dedicated to conserving our beaches and rivers through awareness, advocacy, and action. For the more then forty years, Save Our Shores is apart of the Monterrey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and has worked to combat plastic pollution and prevent offshore oil drilling in the Monterrey Bay area. They have a variety of volunteer opportunities that include beach and river clean-ups or becoming a steward to the community by learning more about conservation and becoming an active member of the organization. Internships are also offered for all students regardless of majors. They offer three different types of internships with different aspects, but they all provie experience and networking opportunites.
