WorldWide Opportunities on Organic Farms or WWOOF is one of the first cultural and educational programs that provide people an opportunity to learn about organic farming and sustainable agriculture.

Would you like to visit a different country? Volunteer for half a day when you are travelling? Just like spending time in nature? Want to experience beekeeping or working with animals? This is the perfect opportunity which does not involve a big time commitment.

If you are 18 years of age or older, you could apply for a single membership which costs $40 and allows you to go visit farms for a year. If you would like to go with a friend, it costs $65 for 2 people for a year. If you are under 18 years of age, you can only volunteer with a legal guardian. All room and board charges are covered. However, transportation is not paid for. You need not have any prior experience in farming to participate in this. If you want, you can volunteer from 1 day to a couple of months in a farm of your choice and pets are welcome too! Just check with the owner of the farm earlier.

If you would like to become a WWOOFER, you can sign up at the link mentioned below:

You can cancel your membership in 30 days and still get a full refund if you do not want to be a WWOOFER.
