What is it?

An opportunity to feed 1 person for 1 day for only $1. How?

Read on…SVC and UCSC Dining Services host the Second Harvest Food Bank Holiday Drive. During the drive, UCSC students have the opportunity to donate their unused Slug Points, Banana Bucks, and Flexi Dollars to the Second Harvest Food Bank Holiday Drive, which supports the Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB). The SHFB uses these donations to purchase food for:

• Santa Cruz residents, some of which are UCSC staff and
  faculty
• UCSC's on-campus food pantries, which any UCSC student can utilize

What can I donate?

Donate all types of Slug Points, Banana Bucks, and Flexi Dollars. You can donate from 5 to 50 Points/Bucks and Flexi Dollars (in increments of 5). Remember, unused Slug Points do not roll over to the next quarter.

Students are able to donate online at donatemeals.ucsc.edu!
