Student Volunteer Center Internship Program

This internship will be returning in Fall 2021!

The Student Volunteer Centers offers an internship program for motivated students to learn how SVC bridges the UCSC campus with the Santa Cruz community while closely collaborating with other interns and the 4 directors. Typically, interns will be working from the office completing tasks such as updating our organization database, contacting organizations, and planning events! But there are still plenty of chances to be involved from the comfort of your home!

In addition to the 3 units you will receive for passing this course, you will also satisfy the PR requirement. Interns work ten hours per week based on their personal schedule, adding up to a total of 40-50 hours for the entire quarter. Work hours include weekly readings, discussion sections, professional assignments, and much more. A project and one final reflective paper will be due before the end of the quarter.

Please note* You MUST be in good academic standing to participate in the SVC Internship Program.
